Reindeer Games

I am so excited to share a fun tradition that my family is starting this year! We are planning a series of competitions called the "Reindeer Games" which is a play off of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! You know, "all of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names, they never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games." Clever right?

Anyway, this idea came to us last year when we decided to all going bowling together! We had so much fun and seeing as my family loves tradition and loves competition - we decided bowling needed to happen every year, but that the next year we were going to have to play for a traveling trophy!

Now, after much thought and consideration, we came up with the name of our trophy: The Christmukkup which honors both the Christmas holiday and our token Jewish family member! :) We are working on what The Christmukkup will look like, so stay tuned for pictures!

After we were all excited about our bowling tournament and The Christmukkup, we decided that we needed to extend our competition and have a series of games throughout the days leading up to Christmas! This became the Reindeer Games and I wanted to share the ideas for what it will include:

-Bowling Tournament
-Christmas Pictionary (stay tuned for the directions on how to play in the next few days!)
-Ping Pong Tournament
-Wii Rock Band
-Catch Phrase

That is our plan as of now, but stay tuned for more details on the Reindeer Games! Does your family do anything similar to make the holidays more exciting? I'd love to hear!
